The Basic Course is an approved motorcycle endorsement course for all riders.
Course Description
We are partnering with Team Oregon to host Basic Rider Training courses for those seeking their Oregon Motorcycle Endorsement. The course includes both on-bike skills tests and classroom knowledge assessments required for endorsement. By completing this course, you’ll be exempt from taking the knowledge test at the DMV.
Classroom sessions will be held here at the dealership, and range training will take place at Chemeketa Community College.
The course provides 8 hours of on-bike training plus classroom instruction and builds basic street-riding skills and strategies.
The classroom prepares students for on-bike training and for street riding. The on-bike training provides practice in the basic skills of getting underway, turning, shifting and stopping. The course also teaches the advanced skills of low-speed balance and control, emergency braking, cornering and swerving.
